Transition to 2024 Ontario Building Code Examinations

Starting March 30, 2026, the Ontario Building Code (OBC) exams will be based on the 2024 Building Code. Please refer to our Examination News page for details.

Building Code Identification Number (BCIN)

A BCIN is required to register for an examination. Always use your personal BCIN and NOT your company's BCIN when registering.

You must show your OFFICIAL REGISTRATION RECEIPT upon check-in for your examination.
